Richard Coeur de Lion was made by Italian sculptor Baron Carlo Marochetti.
Completed in 1856, the bronze statue depicts King Richard I of England.
Bas-reliefs were added to the base in 1866-7.
It stands in Old Palace Yard, just outside the Palace of Westminster.
