This baptistry is situated in the Chapel of St Mary Undercroft within the Palace of Westminster.
The chapel was built between 1292 and 1297.
It was one of the few areas to survive the fire of 1834, which destroyed most of the Palace.
The architect Edward Barry restored the chapel in the 1860's.
